We're Having a Baby...

.... a baby tomato, that is!!! (Scared ya, didn't I?)

Isn't it cute? Kind of like the first ultrasound, here is the first photo of our baby tomato plant. We also have a couple of red and green pepper plants, but they weren't being very photogenic today. They take after their mother...

Dave and I had fun this last weekend at a fabulous party for our good friend, Dr. Mike. It was a western theme, so everyone was dressed as cowboys and cowgirls.

Except me. Always having to be different, I went and found a Sacajawea/Pocahontas costume. I stuck a yellow feather in my hair and was ready to party. It was a great time.

The past month has been crazy, and eliminating blogging was one of the easiest ways to cut down on my self-imposed stress. But, now it is summer, and I'm going to have more free time over the next two months than I've had since before I was in high school. The time will be spent blogging, cleaning, reading, and sitting around at the pool.

It is a beautiful thing. I'm already glad to be back!

Finally! I was thinking you had fallen into a blog hole! Aren't babies adorable? Almost makes me want to have another...I'm 62, so that's a no! We planted the garden this past weekend...I have a black thumb and Steve overwaters so it should be interesting to watch...nothing is dead yet.

Hum, you look a little different...must be the feather. Glad you are back!

For what it's worth, I had a dream the other night that you really were going to have a baby.

Glad you're back among the bloggers. I was getting worried that you didn't like us anymore.

Blogarita - dream on!

Honey, should be begin decorating the nursery (refrigerator produce bin) for our new arrival???

Do you pronounce it SACK-uh-juh-WEE-uh or WAY-uh? ("Night at the Museum" reference, for those who've never seen it) I pronounce it "sexy." A-maize-ing outfit. ("corny" reference, for those who don't know me)

Good luck with the tomatoes! Last time I tried to grow some, the birds harvested before I could... this year I'm trying strawberries. It's good to see you back a-bloggin', too!

i will be sure to keep my baby away from yours. He found ours at this size, took em off one by one and ran them over with his trike.

Then after he was done, he called me over to see the "look mommy it pops!"

I think it's pronounced Sacacagagaweeah.

Sometimes I wish I had a yard so I could grow veggies. I love summer tomatoes. But, then I remember how lazy I am. And that we bought the condo with no yard specifically to avoid having to do chores outside.

Is it a boy tomato or a girl tomato?

Way to stand out from the crowd. I mean, come on, why wear bedazzled western wear when you can throw on a minidress with feathers?! :)

Aww they're so cute, yes they are! Next you'll be scrapbooking your little babies. :)

I love dressing in costume. Halloween is my favorite!
